How do we convey all the wonderful aspects of our cruising Life? Each day brings some new experience; just the chance to share a few days on Ocean Angel with good friends is another opportunity to marvel at all the amazing gifts our cruising life offers. We’re so thankful for all we can share.

We sailed North to Rodney Bay where we anchored for a couple days to share time kicking back; another hike to the top of Pigeon Peak with its jaw dropping views; another drink at Jambe du Bois; on the way back to the boat we stopped to visit one of our favorite vendors, Malachi, who promised to come to the boat later to deliver necklaces and bracelets he’d made to order for Joy and Patti. True to his word, as the sun dipped into the Caribbean Sea, Malachi tied to our stern and displayed other wares while sharing tales of his life and his beliefs.

I first met Brenda’s Mom and Dad back in 1970 when I delivered home heating oil for Tilton Fuel Company who shared a tiny building with Bob and Bobbie Douglass, aka Douglass Appliance Center. To this day, Brenda and all her siblings still work at the family owned business which has become one of the country’s leading Brand Source Appliance Dealers. We had a little fun with her about our “Mini-Maytag”!

Sadly, but smiling from ear to ear, our great friends left on April 28th, flying back to cold Northeast, but having memories to last a lifetime. We would miss them.
